Pooja Sharma

Welcome to the Art Collection.

Born and raised in the culturally rich town of Kosi Kalan, Uttar Pradesh, I am an artist deeply rooted in my heritage and profoundly moved by the human condition. My art is a reflection of humanity's relationship with the environment, a dialogue that I articulate through a myriad of printmaking techniques such as etching, lithography, woodcut, collography, drypoint, and viscosity.

We look forward to connecting with you!

My creations are not mere decorative pieces; they are profound statements on the human experience, capturing the ebb and flow of life's impermanence amidst the calm and chaos. I strive to illuminate the unbearable monotony that often shrouds our perception of reality, challenging the viewer to delve deeper into their understanding of existence. A Master's degree in Fine Arts will not only allow me to refine my artistic expression but also foster a deeper understanding of my own self.Nature, with its boundless beauty and wisdom, holds a special place in my heart. It inspires me to incorporate its elements into my work and fuels my passion for gardening and literature. However, I am deeply troubled by the disregard humanity often shows towards the precious gift of life bestowed upon us by Mother Nature. This disregard has led to significant challenges such as urbanization, overpopulation, and environmental pollution, themes that I explore in my work.My art is a call to action, a plea for conservation, and a critique of the self-serving motives that often drive human behavior. I challenge the notion of superiority, questioning those who believe they can bend morality to serve their selfish ends. My ethos is simple: to live and let live, not merely to survive, but to truly thrive.I am in search of an institution that will foster my growth as an artist and as an individual, a place where I can cultivate open-minded philosophies and a strong commitment to my artistic intentions. I am confident that my ideas, expressed through my art, will leave a lasting impact on the world in the years to come.
